2600 expansion module black screen

Hey, all,

 

Was fortunate to pick up one of these in a big box of Colecovision parts and pieces. Everything looks fine on it, but when I plug it in, all I get is a black screen. Anyone have any ideas on what cause this and if the problem is fixable?

I have had black screen, but it was a matter of cleaning the expansion module contacts with rubbing alcohol. Also, some games like Jr. Pac-Man didn't insert well and I had to futz around with reinserting it to bring the thing up.
