I am one of those people who correct a Wikipedia article when possible.

 

This article on the 32X states that only 200,000 units were sold. That's pretty remarkable, since at least 600,000 units were shipped at launch, and the console is very common.

 

So, anyone have good sales numbers that can be cited?

Nope, I hate that too. I just correct facts where I see that they're wrong, add references, correct grammatical errors, and occasionally add something.

Rev. Bob isn't the person known to edit facts on Wikipedia console pages. You got the wrong Atariage member. Mcjakeqcool is the atariage member that is known to edit wikipedia console pages.

Oh yeah, I remember Mcjakeqcool! He hasn't been on in ages. I actually prefer him not being on, but I still wonder how his rap career is going. (I seriously love how he inserted shameless self promotions in topics).

Has he been blocked, Al? I notice that he hasn't posted since the end of August, when he was quite active before then. But unlike DP and other forums I hang out at, there's no 'blocked' tag in his username area or profile or anything to indicate that. I don't know how this works on this site, which is why I'm asking.

 

And yeah, if he keeps going at this rate he'll be blocked for good on Wiki also...although his last message indicated he would be willing to submit to being moderated and adopted. That's why I don't edit over there, it's too hard and I know I'd suck.

I kind of figured that he was hit over the head with the banhammer, but this is as close to a confirmation as I can get. Oh well, that guy was pretty damn annoying, he seemed like he didn't have much of a life, and as a result he spammed and trolled Atariage. Just my theory, anyway.
