Perfect Raiders

Here's a video I made of a perfect game of Raiders of the Lost Ark, complete with Yar and signature. I also think this is the best/shortest route through the game. (Perhaps this has been done before, but well, I was bored...)

very well done. I still cannot complete RotLA consistently. I die a lot trying to parachute into the butte.

The solution to that is to use the hourglass to reach the mesa. With a parachute in inventory right next to the ankh, if it gets caught on the branch you can immediately press the button to warp back to the mesa field. It takes a bit longer (esp. collecting the pair for multiple tries), but time taken has no penalty on the final "score".

Yeah, I do that, Nukey, but invariably somewhere between warping back to get a new 'chute and jumping off to my doom again, I run afoul of something that does me in, or I get impatient. That is a great tip, though, and I'm surprised you don't lose points for it!

Text? I was thinking voice. Like someone speaks during the course of the video and explains what is going on, why the player is doing things this way, etc. Would take about 5 minutes to do. And it's not like there's any music going on in the game.
