vdub_bobby #27 Posted October 21, 2009 Unhooked the Xbox yesterday and hooked up the N64. I bought Star Wars: Rogue Squadron a few weeks ago and hadn't played it so I switched. Plus I just watched GoldenEye last week and it gave me a hankering for some GoldenEye FPS action. Ah yeah.
chuckwalla #28 Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) I've got an Adam Game Console, an Atari 800XL, an Atari 7800 and Sega Genesis connected to my 20" Sony tv; a ColecoVision, SNES, and Atari 5200 connected to a great little 14" Panasonic tv I got on Craigslist for $15. It's classic video game heaven Edited October 21, 2009 by chuckwalla
+thegoldenband #29 Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) The ones I keep most "at the ready" are the Dreamcast (plus NES and SMS/GG/SG-1000 emulators), Atari 2600, and my Intellivision II. But the only one that's literally plugged in most of the time is the Dreamcast; I pull the AC adapters for the others when they're not in use. Next in line would be the Gamecube, N64, and PS1, in that order. The cables for all of those are hitched up to a 4-port AV switching unit I got from Radio Shack, together with the Dreamcast; since the Gamecube and N64 use the same AV cable, and the Dreamcast and PS1 can use the same power cable, it's not too much of a rat's nest. The CoCo 2, CoCo 3, and C64 are all in storage, partly because two of those three aren't working properly (the CoCo 3 is fine). I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with the Sega Genesis I just picked up, which has its own weird proprietary RF connector -- right now we've got it hitched to a portable TV. And then there's my Vectrex, which is always ready to go! Edited October 21, 2009 by thegoldenband

MagitekAngel #35 Posted October 23, 2009 I'm surprised how many people have their N64s in their active roster. I've been slogging through Quest 64 myself. Don't judge me, I've always had a soft spot for that half-assed, horribly flawed game.

uglyclone #40 Posted October 23, 2009 I don't have much but I currently have the NES, 2600, 7800, and Gamecube hooked up. I know it might seem strange to have both the 2600 and 7800 hooked up, but that's how I roll.

seanhq #43 Posted October 24, 2009 (edited) I love my little CDX, anyone have one? Yep, I own one, complete with the official power adapter that says its for the CDX. I picked mine up at a Goodwill awhile ago. They must have thought it was a CD player or something because I got it for $8.00 USD. As for what classic systems I have currently hooked up and ready to play (in no special order): Atari 2600 NES SNES N64 GameCube Sega Genesis (CDX) Here are the modern systems I have hooked up: Nintendo Wii Xbox 360 I know that GameCube games will play on my Wii, but I mostly use my GameCube so I can hookup my GameBoy player to it and play GameBoy Advanced games on my big TV Edited October 24, 2009 by seanhq
