Awesome - I can't wait for the Star Raiders readalong. If they managed to make Breakout interesting, Star Raiders should be War & Peace by comparison.

I will admit, this is the only podcast that gives any coverage to coin-op games & pinball machines. It's like there's almost zero discussion of coin-op games around, with the only traces of it being "hey, wanna buy my arcade cab?"

 

I do however propose reviewing & using this piece of hardware.

Add me to the "the show's too long" list. I agree it is a nice podcast and the only one that really talks coin-op anymore but I gave up when all episodes ended up more than two hours long. If it was all content worth the time I wouldn't complain but some of the UK Mike antics (his nephew "comedy?" the "funny?" visit to Scotland, the editting of Scott's comments to sound like "hilarious?" innuendo) are a waste of time and when we're talking five hours or more that's time I cannot waste.

Sorry to complain but really that show needs to be cut down in length.

I fail to see the problem? I chop it up in chunks, put them on my mp3 player and I'm set for almost a weeks commuting to work.

No offense to UK Mike, but his comedy segments have nothing to do with video games(most of the time), and is moreso just playing with sound bytes. Oddly enough, one copy of ITunes I have lists all audio track lengths in Hour:minute, but my copy at work is just minute(for almost easy fast-forwarding).
