ADAM Spotted In MAD Magazine

I was re-reading one of my old MAD magazines and I spotted what appears to be an ADAM computer in one of the articles (MAD Nasty File):

 

 

I have no idea what issue this came out of since this was a "Best Of" issue, but it must have been around 84-85. The artist didn't get the system 100% right, but there's no mistaking that's what he was going for. I wonder why they chose the ADAM of all things?

 

I think point 2 is dead on (for the ADAM anyway).

Haha, true. They ended up reducing the price to $200 and discontinued them fairly shortly into their life span.

 

I still love my Adam though, its a great conversation piece.

I've collected Mad magazine since 77,or since "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind" came out!!!I'll have to go through them to find the issue that illustration was in.
