Heaven/TQA #1 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) Just had a look at Bash! demo and I am still a fan of that pokey sounds at the beginning... Miker, why do you not use them more often??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfkRwFIDyFI&feature=related Edited October 22, 2009 by Heaven/TQA
miker #2 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) Nice you like it. I wonder what "master" recorded it in stereo, while the player was dedicated to play this tune in mono... :/ Here's the link to ASMADB, so everyone can listen to it using fave SAP-player: http://asma.atari.org/asma/Composers/Szpilowski_Michal/Bash_Main.sap Edited October 22, 2009 by miker

miker #4 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) MPT 2.4 with "some" magic. And to be more serious - it's just synth/arpeggio/filter manipulating etc. with some puretone+bass "synthjoining". It sounds better in MPT than in RMT because you have constant freq-value on second synthed-voice (2 or 3, counting from 0) and simultaneously you may operate with volume (almost) without glitches. Some luck is needed too, because of POKEY's frequencies, but sometimes it works. And that's the secret. Edited October 22, 2009 by miker
emkay #5 Posted October 23, 2009 What does it show to us? Clear point: Every piece of hardware feature needs to get enabled in tools like RMT and G2F. After that, one could do the "real unexpected" stuff...
