VectorGamer #1 Posted October 22, 2009 I prefer the old way that categories were setup on The Chuck. I was able to go to Listings | Games and then click on e.g. Commodore 64 and look at the games for that system. Now, Commodore 64 appears to be under Other along with 175+ "other" games. I have to agree with you there. It's much more of a hassle now where as before it was so easy to find exactly what I wanted.
gdement #3 Posted October 23, 2009 They need to have better handling of subcategories. Many of them should be treated more as filtering attributes rather than separate categories. For example, if you're looking in the NES "games" category, it should also include all the subcategories like "new in box" etc. It seems to force you to look in each subcategory explicitly in order to see them. Same would apply to the C64 - they could list those games in a "computer games" category but have a subcategory for C64. If they did it this way people could browse as general or specific a category as they want.
