The Koopa was a pain. I knew it would be, so I poked a LOT of holes first with an eyeglass screw driver.

Awesome!Last time I carved a pumpkin,I sliced my palm open to the bone,and had to go to emergency.My arm started going numb,lost quite a bit of blood.

And yeah, pinholes all the way, it helps to carve it fairly thin from the inside to start with to,kso you don't have so much to cut through...

 

Anyhow, awesome, now I wanna do one, but I live out in the boonies, so no pumpkin smashin' kids will ever see it anyways
