haha! Holy crapola that thing is IMMENSE! I never knew how big the ADAM was. That includes the printer and all the other peripherals, right? I hope it does at least

I remember Kay*Bee Toy Stores had a border of Adam's stacked above and behind their POS station at the Vernon Hills, IL mall back in the day. Impressive looking system at the time and like the TG-16's CD player, I suspect that helped sell systems. Or not. lol

 

BTW: John, NICE collection! Reminded me of being at the Kay*Bee back in the day. I used to love that store. They even had Jaguar stuff at the end. Bargains galore.

I'm surprised it didn't come with hooks on it so you could easily strap it to the roof of your car to take it home. It's almost like buying a casket.

Maybe that was the real reason for Coleco's demise. Storage space for all of those returned Adam boxes..

That thing was pretty huge, all right. Other systems' boxes at that time couldn't compare to this.
