Sgt.Pepper1983
The screen on my gba is almost completely blacked out. The system itself still works. I tested out a game in it and could hear everything loud and clear. Does anyone know how I can get the screen replaced and how much it should cost? fiddlepaddle
Probably cheaper to just buy a replacement.
jeremysart
dealextreme used to have them, Im not to sure any more. I know this isnt what you want to hear, but I would suggest getting a new system. You can probably find one for around the cost of the replacement screen. Video
I had that happen to my GBA after moding it with a GBATV periphrial, as it turns out, nothing was wrong with it, but when I shoved the ribbon cable back in, it didn't make a good contact (Or I didn't get the locks back down, something like that) anyhow, I'd say, if you got the driver to take it apart, try pulling the lock on the cable port, pull the cable out, and put it back in and relock it. See if it works....if not, you haven't lost anything other than a few minutes, and if it does, it'ss till cheaper than buying a new one.
