lonesome_pa
This question has probably been asked in the past, but I just can't seem to find any info on it. But here goes: What 7800 games come with and use the Pokey Chip? P.S. I just recently became a new owner of a 7800 (never owned one in the past) and so far, even with my meger little 7800 collection, I am very happy with it. Now I just need to build my collection for this system.
oesii
I think it's only Ballblazer and Commando. At least they are great games.
+Mitch
Yeah, Ballblazer and Commando are the only two. Ballblazer uses the Pokey for all of the sound but Commando only uses it for the background music. Mitch http://atari7800.atari.org
Magic Knight
Hi - its been a while since this has been re-looked at but apart from Commando and ballblazer does any of the carts on Atari-age use a pokey or external sound other than the 2 channel TIA. Or any other homebrews for that matter? Edited September 14, 2013 by Magic Knight

KevinMos3
The homebrews I'm aware of that use a Pokey chip are: Atlas 7800 [Seemo] Beef Drop [Kenfused] Bentley Bear: Crystal Castles [PacManPlus] Donkey Kong XM [Tep392] Froggie [Schmutzpuppe] Ms. Pac-Man 320 [PacManPlus] Pac-Man 320 [PacManPlus] Pac-Man Collection (Pokey version) [PacManPlus & Tep392] Super Circus [PacManPlus] *** Bloc Drop (I believe Kenfused was planning on future Pokey music, but it had not yet been added in the last demo rom) Not all those games have seen releases yet, and most of them are intended to use the pokey in an XM add-on. However, the roms (either complete or demos) can be played with an emulator or CC2.
