Cebus Capucinis #1 Posted November 1, 2009 Here's some pictures of my wimpy, wimpy but growing collection! I just organized everything and stored it all so things are looking a lot cleaner than before. The Monkey Hut Up first is the storage rack next to my AA.com computer. On the first two shelves we have a 130XE complete in box and a TI-99/4a black/silver model complete in box! The next two shelves feature a 5200 4-port and the 2600 Jr and a 2600 light sixer. The other variations of the 2600 are in the closet and my 7800 is currently out for repair at Ax's place. In the projector room here's my favorite little non-working toy which will soon be replaced with a working version: the PCJR! When I take pictures I think I have Parkinson's because I can't take a non-blurry photo. Here's the stack of CIB games for the 2600/Jr. Note, I don't collect CIB games so this is very small! In the projector room closet we have the boxes for the CIB systems I got: The Jr boxes, plus the Atari 1050 & 1027 boxes. A box of all the controllers, trackballs, etc. for the Atari systems: I know, blasphemy, my 2600s aren't hooked up at the moment. I am obsessed with using this 1200XL though! I play Ms. Pac-Man every time I go in the living room for it. Top of the 2 shelves next to it (the rest are my wife's books) is the CIB A8 games I got, along with the complete Lynx II w/ carrying case, car charger, you name it. Still working on games for it: More Parkinson's photos. This is the loose 2600 collection. I've got around 120 carts or so, I'm not completely sure. I'm still working on it! So there's the monkey hut so far. As I said I'm still really new at collecting so I don't have a whole lot, but I've got a bunch of boxes showing up next week that should enhance the collection. Cebus Capucinis #3 Posted November 1, 2009 Ironically those pink fuzzy slippers were a 50th birthday gift for my mother that never made it into the box. We got her all these gag gifts for "old people" like laxatives/fiber and icy-hot for her aching joints now that she's old. These matched a shower cap for her new curlers and a pink housecoat we got her, but when I got to the post office I went "CRAP!" because I'd forgotten them, but by then the box was sealed. I may just wear them myself, actually.

Cebus Capucinis #6 Posted November 1, 2009 (edited) I just put them on, they're too small Okay, since I needed a new picture of the PCJr since the original was too blurry, I decided to post an additional fashion statement. Cebus Capucinis #11 Posted November 22, 2009 Thanks to some REALLY FRIGGIN AWESOME trades with EricDeLee and jboypacman (Seriously, if they offer trades, DO EET! They are so awesome!) and some crafty thrift store purchasing, I have managed to acquire for ze collection: I got this 1040STf from jaybird3rd. I don't know if it works or not yet because I have no AC adapter! Haha! But it's pretty yellowed but I cracked 'er open and she's in rough shape but I'm betting it'll boot up. I have a 520ST on the way so we'll see what happens. I might make a Frankenstein-ST out of both. CIB INTV System III. This system is so freakin' weird. I can't get the controls down right. Thanks to acousticguitar I have some great games like Sea Battle, Armor Battle, and Space Battle, but I'm terrible at them CIB Odyssey 2! It has no AC adapter once more. But it looks brilliantly taken care of and came with 8 games (some pretty rare!). The stack is GROWING oh no! Woohoo! Found an Atari Game Center as well! It's sort of beat up but looks good and holds my 5200 games right now (I don't have working joysticks so the 5200 doesn't get played at all, just sits on my shelf) The newest member of my family...the ColecoVision! It "came" with a 2600 Expansion Module but it wasn't in the box when it showed up. Am currently in the process of disputing it and hopefully will find it soon. Nonetheless I never had one of these and although it's not as weird as the Intellivision it's still strange to me! I love it so far though! I got some supposedly rarity 6-8 games with it, too, which is really cool! On top of the 1040STf, jaybird also sold me an Atari Portfolio! It's a fun little computer and I haven't been able to do much with it due to lack of time. Honestly I want to take it to work and use it as a 'To Do List' creator and an appointment calendar, but have to add some files to it to get those to work (I know how, just haven't been able to). There's also another one in pieces that I may try to revitalize and some transfer cables. A great deal overall!
Cebus Capucinis #12 Posted March 2, 2010 Need to upload new pictures as the collection has shifted a lot, but here's my newest addition: GARAGE ARCADE! I bought these games in Boise -- very great prices. The guy has tons more, too, willing to sell, can't wait to expand! These cabs need some work but nothing major. The 1942 & Asteroids have brand new monitors. Nice!
+save2600 #13 Posted March 2, 2010 (edited) Looks nice Ben! And that Space Invaders looks real sharp (despite the hornswaggled pics). lol Not a fan of the PeeCee platform at all, but your Jr. setup is real cool. You'll be throwing that friggin thing against the wall though as soon as you "Power Up" to an Amiga Edited March 2, 2010 by save2600
Cebus Capucinis #14 Posted March 2, 2010 haha ironically it's already in boxes. I haven't done much with it, I need to find a place. I started with the Jr but then bought Atari 8bits....and the 8bits instantly won. Space Invaders works BRILLIANTLY! I think the monitor issue with the artifacts is just cold weather. As soon as it's on and the monitor warms up, no problems whatsoever....I asked the guy I bought Asteroids from and he said it was either A) cold monitor or B ) chips needed looked at. The cool thing is he's totally into repairing stuff so I now know someone somewhat local that can send me parts and the like! Thumbs up for that. The Coleco is gone, the CIB Intelly is gone, most of the computers will be gone in my raffle.....but I have more GAMES now! of course also the ARCADE in the garage! Yes!
