SoulBlazer
Im really missing Zerbe's 80-89 podcast right about now I'm really missing all the podcasts that Flak does, but he was on vacation so it's all good. I'm sure new ones will show up also. Also wondering about the 5200 podcast. ArKay must still be homeless. Poor guy.
BoatofCar
They did? Was that the Pinball Fantasies episode? I don't remember hearing that. Oh well, drops make me happy, and if the podcast host ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Being a total dick, does that include drop-ins about leaving an iTunes review? I keed, I keed. I have never even used an Amiga but I like their show. Crazy late bump, but I just came across this. We weren't talking about you guys! I was actually thinking of the endless "funny" bits that get thrown in RGRup. Sorry about the confusion--I would never hate on the Pie Factory Podcast! S1500
Crazy late bump, but I just came across this. We weren't talking about you guys! I was actually thinking of the endless "funny" bits that get thrown in RGRup. Sorry about the confusion--I would never hate on the Pie Factory Podcast! I think the latest "funny" bit on RGR was the "bulk power" reference(in reference to the RGVS console thing), so it gets muttered about 200-300 times per episode. When it's done that much, it ceases to be funny. With comedy, timing is key, and too many times isn't funny.
S1500
Comedy gold: One of the Ten Pence Arcade guys(British) mimicing the southern American accents of BrokenToken's Bret & Whitney. They met in person.
S1500
A new podcast has arrived! The Retro Hour http://www.theretrohour.com/ Heard about this from Amigos. Haven't got around to hearing it yet.
S1500
Another podcast has arrived! Kaneda's Pinball Podcast http://www.podcastgarden.com/podcast/kanedaspinballpodcast Found this on pinside(the atariage of pinball), and well, he's not the most well-liked Pinsider on there. So it ends up being rather interesting. So that brings the total podcasts new as of 2016 to 4. And for the poddies, it's all up to me now. Just so dang cold out. But I'm not reporting outside. S1500
Interesting. I'm listening to Apple Time Warp, and there's a bunch of vertical lines on the timeline(I'm listening on an iPod video). Fast forwarding through the cast fast forwards through the segments, and it shows the segment name(yes, each one is named) for easy skip-through. Of all the years I've been fast-forwarding podcasts, I never have seen this feature before. I wish RGR had this to skip past the top 10 segment, or skip past dinosaur pie. ferghead
I looked into that after I saw one podcast do that, I think it was the Bugle. If I remember right, you can do that in Garage Band.
Flack
Just listened to the first episode (Episode 0) of Atari Bytes. On this show the host (Bill) tells the stories of Atari games based on the manuals, and how closely the backstories match up with the actual games. Sounds pretty interesting. http://ataribytes.libsyn.com/podcast

RJ
Sounds cool, could possibly fill the void left by the LynxCast.
Dauber
I'm really looking forward to Atari Bytes...sounds like a very, very intersting alternative angle to the typical game-by-game podcast style...
S1500
A new podcast has been discovered! Found this from Ferg's latest episode. Sega Nerds I think this is the page that gets you the RSS feed, etc. http://www.seganerds.com/2016/01/19/sega-nerdcast-episode-97-talkin-our-favorite-anime-video-games/ So that's about 6 new podcasts this year? S1500
Wow, helluva Atari 2600 GBG. I won't spoil the end, but the difference in voices.
Dauber
Today was a good day for listening to video game podcasts...Atari Bytes ep 0 has me pretty stoked...and A26GBG was just awesome...and I've played neither of the games, too.
RJ
Subbed to Atari Bytes. Hoping the fan fic (if it comes to it) doesnt get too...extreme.
Dauber
Given the backstories in the manuals, I don't think he'll have to resort to fan fiction. Heh....can't wait to see what he does with Lost Luggage.
RJ
Oh, about halfway thru he says he may, if he's so inspired, to fill in some of the holes.
RJ
I'm a bit late to praise Ferg's latest ep. He continues to outdo himself! I bought that closing song as soon as I could. Is that singer Murray Attaway? He did a solo song called "Under Jets" I quite like. & I was hoping a bit you were going further with that "Ariel" tune. I got it off a borrowed 70s compilation & it grew on me, now I know it by heart. "Way on the other side of the Hudson, deep in the bosom of Suburbia..."
