S1500
I'm enjoying the TurboGrafx one so far. I like how there's period-correct music(late 80s) stuffed between segments. Real chill. B+
RJ
JungleRatRob on Retro League often goes on & on & on when discussing a game, but when he does it for 2600 games (Street Racer in this case) I don't mind so much.
RJ
Is it me, or does Super Podcast Brothers have the most unintelligible opening theme song of all? Ferg, you do know the XE lightgun works on the 7800, right? It works across 3 Atari systems: 2600, 7800, & 8-bits.
S1500
Is it me, or does Super Podcast Brothers have the most unintelligible opening theme song of all? It's death metal. Wasn't meant to be clearly heard. I liked this episode of Super Podcast Bros. It was just at the perfect length of the episode: 90 minutes and no more. 90 minutes will always be the magic limit for podcast episode lengths. Right now I'm listening to the TG 16 'cast, up to episode 2(Keith Courage)
Dauber
IIRC, Andy told me some of the lyrics are literally just gobbledygook.
RJ
Ahhh, that explains it. I suspected as much.
Cynicaster
IIRC, Andy told me some of the lyrics are literally just gobbledygook. I strain my ears to decipher it every time, with no success, so if it's just gibberish that would explain a lot. What I hear is this: [unintelligible] [unintelligible] Our eyes will bleed into the screen [unintelligible] We will not see the sun Until the high score's won And then we'll grab another beer And double-fist [unintelligible] [unintelligible] [unintelligible] 16 bits of classic [unintelligible] Putting it straight to the metal It's the Super Podcast Bros. Otherwise it means you still care a little about 'you know who'. RJ
Actually my English teacher wife says "you-know-who" is correct. It's never "you-know-whom".

thevnaguy
Thanks guys, its been fun shutting down some casts to spend more time on my you tube show and the Toy Tomb. ferghead
I thought it was cool how the Atari Jaguar GBG and SNES Podcasts both covered Pinball Fantasies last week, probably without knowing the other was covering it.

I knew it was coming up for Shinto, but I figured it would be weeks before his episode was out.
ferghead
You're right, both of you announced it in advance, right? Duh me. But yeah, this was a quick turnaround for Shinto.
