New Hallmark Galaga Ornament

Has anyone else seen the new Galaga ornament at Hallmark?

It is a little arcade cabinet that lights up and plays 10-15 second of game sounds. A must have!

if they sell a lot of them, they may come out with a new one every year - so go buy one.

You apparently haven't seen last year's Pac-Man ornament. And, yes, it has been mentioned in the forums. I never get around to going to the mall to pick Galaga up.

Haven't seen it yet, but will end up getting one since they're apparently going to be making a series out of the classics. Plus, gives you a good excuse to go to the mall and patronize the few stores left. Thanks for the reminder!

These are the perfect size for your old 3.5" GI Joes.

I can wait to get a whole set so I can have Zartan and his Dreadnoks hanging out at the arcade.

Well, I finally got my butt down to Hallmark and got one. They're rather expensive ($18.50). I wonder what they'll do next year. Space Invaders? Asteroids? I can't wait to find out! Maybe 20 or so years from now (if they keep putting one out every year) I can get a small fake Christmas tree and have a themed Christmas tree. That'd be cool.

So this is what Hallmark do each Christmas Release the next in an ornament series to get you roped in ?

I see Winter with Snoopy is a series that has run for a number of years.Galaga minature for 18 bucks that

is expensive but then Hallmark never was cheap even their Cards are expensive.

Kohl's has them too, and most people (in the US) should have a Kohl's near them. I'm getting the Galaga this year to go next to last year's Pac-Man.

Folks should get them at Kohl's if you can, They usually have them cheaper than Hallmark.

I bought mine at Hallmark last year, then 30 minutes later took it back because Kohl's had the same thing like 30 or 40 % off.

I was out with my brother, killing some time before our movie started, and we ambled into the Hallmark store. When I saw Galaga, I told him to buy it for me for Christmas, so he grabbed it off the shelf and purchased it. (It may sound weird to you, but we do this type of thing a lot.)

 

So, I know at least one cool thing awaiting me this year!

It doesn't sound weird at all. One year my Dad handed me a new grease gun and said "Give me this for Christmas, and you owe me 15 bucks.". What a sentimental guy, the joke was on him, because I was planning to spend $20.

#$$^& Kohls was sold out of the Galaga today when I checked. They were selling it 20% off (and I had a coupon for another 15% off). I'll have to keep checking back.
