Lendorien #31 Posted April 16, 2010 The Playstation looks awesome. See, console manufacturers need to used colors like that rather than the boring blacks and grays they always use. Also like the blue and white Saturn.
coyo5050 #32 Posted April 16, 2010 Some hot looking stuff especially that N64, an all white 3DO would probably look amazing.
Vic George 2K3 #33 Posted April 16, 2010 The modded Jaguar and Jaguar CD case looks like it needs racing car stripes on it.

madhatter667 #35 Posted April 16, 2010 NICE work on that Jag. Different... interesting... just what a custom case job should be. Color coordinated and tasteful.

jeremysart #37 Posted April 17, 2010 Those are sick! Badass, keep up the good work The Jag is sick, and I love the glossy Saturn with the decals and the orange SNES!!
SRGilbert #38 Posted April 22, 2010 Those are all top notch! I bet you could get a lot of business doing custom controllers too.
mattyg #39 Posted April 22, 2010 Those are all top notch! I bet you could get a lot of business doing custom controllers too. working on it! the biggest issue with controllers is finding an effective way of labelling buttons. Because I use high gloss enamels I can't screen and cut vinyl is almost impossible to cut in those sizes .......
4Ks #40 Posted April 22, 2010 The 64, SNES, 3DO, Saturn, Jag, and Gennys all look great. That blue/white Saturn gives it a Sonic-y look. The red/white 64 looks like a pokeball. Th Fisher Price Jag needs some black flames. The 3DO is cool, but the sparkly purple doen't really suit it (love the white top though).
mattyg #41 Posted May 25, 2010 Here is my latest creation - a white Sanyo TRY 3DO !

mattyg #43 Posted May 26, 2010 (edited) this one was a bit of an experiment in colour - but I think it kinda works! - I now have a facebook page for my work - colour your console by mattyg - be sure to check it out! mattyg #44 Posted June 2, 2010 Here are a couple of restored "joystick" branded 3rd party 2600 controllers. This time a matte finish was experimented with to get as close as possible to the original texture - not quite right but not too bad! ....and don't forget my FB page colour your console by mattyg! This time a matte finish was experimented with to get as close as possible to the original texture - not quite right but not too bad! I like it. Looks more like egg shell than true matte, though. BITD, I did my original Turbo Duo as slightly soft/off white in pure matte (special "plastic dye" paint with a beautiful spray tip that gave an incredible finish. I still have it to this day, but over the years it got some wear and tear on it ). Are you using any special plastic etching/bonding primer first, before applying the paint? Yes bonding agents are used - different strengths depending on the plastic - took a bit of experimenting though. Tryed using dyes but was not happy with the result / effort ratio ...and yeah your right - more eggshell than matte.

godslabrat #49 Posted June 22, 2010 What's your stance on doing just controllers? I've thought about modding a Genesis pad for Atari use, and having it repainted to make it distinctive.
