Fischer500 #1 Posted November 13, 2009 I looked at that "pressure cooker" cartoon, and then saw the cosmic ark one. It rocked, but... Cosmic Ark is NOT an activision game! Its from Imagic! What the heck? Anyone know what happened, or any thoughts on the subject?

+SpiceWare #3 Posted November 13, 2009 from Interview: Ken Love on Activision Anthology Ken Love: It actually started out when I was researching our relationship with the Imagic company. Many people have claimed that we actually own the Imagic catalog. I did some research into this and found out that WE DO own SOME of the Imagic catalog. I don't know if Cosmic Ark was one of them. I see some other interesting stuff in that interview jvm: Originally Anthology was to be network-enabled to allow downloading of extra ROMs. Could you elaborate on the plans you had for this feature?... KL: Sure. Anthology took advantage of Sony's Broadband Adapter. ... The plan was to make 3, 4 or maybe 5 games available for download every month. ... jvm: One network use that I mentioned earlier was the possibility of licensing and distributing some of the homebrew games that have been developed since the release of the CyberPunks' Stella Got a New Brain CD. Was this considered? KL: Absolutely. It was going to happen. jvm: Games like Thrust and Oystron? KL: Thrust was actually going to be one the first titles available for download. Thomas Jentzsch #4 Posted November 14, 2009 ...KL: Thrust was actually going to be one the first titles available for download. Yup, that was the original plan. Thrust didn't make it, because Activision demanded unlimited rights.
