JamesD #1 Posted November 13, 2009 I just received an email that says the XBOX 360 update that adds facebook, zune, twitter, and last fm is coming on the 17th. It appears to require a gold subscription. http://www.xbox.com/en-us/live/update
BDW #2 Posted November 13, 2009 Sorry to rain on your parade, but it appears that you are a tad late to the party. M$ announced this at E3 some time ago.

moycon #4 Posted November 14, 2009 (edited) They announced they were adding it but I didn't know they gave a date. I've been active on the Beta for the last couple weeks JamesD. As a "hardcore" gamer, stuff like this is just fluff. I do like Facebook, but honestly could care less about the 360 interface. *half-yawn* Twitter on the 360? *meh-I'm doing something boring-yawn* The Last FM however, is pretty sweet. *listen obscure songs we love!!* Last FM is (IMO) both interesting (trivia) and serves a purpose (folks get to listen to kick ass songs). Play it at your next party! Edited November 14, 2009 by moycon

If so, I'd be interested in that feature because when I used the Wii on a regular basis, I did check & enjoy the News and Weather channels. moycon #9 Posted November 14, 2009 Didn't they also add "MSN News" to the interface? I hadn't noticed that as part of the update. Maybe it's something that is still in the works?
+Stephen #10 Posted November 14, 2009 I think this next update is also going to add the 1080p instant streaming for movies as well. Stephen Anderson
SoulBlazer #11 Posted November 26, 2009 The updates and extra features are nice, but I don't use Twitter and I'm fine with Facebook on my PC, thanks. Frankly, I still have that new look. What was wrong with the original 360 interface? It was clean, looked good, easy to use, and easy to navigate.
