Metroid prime: Hunters cheating

for some reason, everybody that plays that game on WFC is a dirty rotten cheater. no matter how hard i pound most enemies, the just stay alive and kill me in one shot with the impaler. it completely ruins the experience. the only decent multiplayer i had played was local.

I want to know 3 things:

 

How are they doing this crap

 

Why are they doing ths crap

 

and can i do anything about it.

WFC is full of Alt-spammers. There's ways to put them in their place, but I gave up online play a long time ago - I mostly just play directly with my brother, truth be told. It's a shame; Hunters has a very robust Multiplayer mode, especially for the DS, but the servers are full of spammers with nothing better to do than spam.

I think there's a friendcode thing here somewhere, maybe you could link up with some AAers and avoid the shit?
