Donkey Kong - 940,100 Points

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Have I just beat Billy Mitchell's latest recorded score on the arcade version of Donkey Kong? I have two snapshots to prove it.

Nope, sadly. He and Steve Wiebe surpassed 1 million points quite a while ago. Not to mention:

A) You're using an emulator, which would fall under a different category in the Twin Galaxies High Scores, and

B) If you didn't videotape it, it wouldn't count anyway

Still an amazing score. I could never get that high, I can barely pass screen 3. Good work!

Now how would 2,076,600 points sound?

Sounds impossible to me even if you turn on Mame invicibility cheats.. doesn't the game crash on the kill-screen way before that score would be possible? :P

No, that didn't happen to me. But I do acknowledge the scoreboard turns over after every one million points.

May I suggest next time you use wolfmame and record your session. Then post it

on MARP and I'm sure you'll get lots of credit :)
