ShinRyu05
yeh thats what i was trying to say that they are both good
Mikau
something i had to learn (the hard way, i guess), is that it doesnt matter if a game is a rehash/sequel. good games are good games, period.
sdstuff64
rehash/sequel What do you mean when you say rehash? When I think of rehash I think of older games that are being ported to new systems.Like all the SNES to GBA games.
ShinRyu05
yeh rehash and sequels are different, very different
Mikau
rehash/sequel What do you mean when you say rehash? When I think of rehash I think of older games that are being ported to new systems.Like all the SNES to GBA games. in my opinion at least... rehash: same engine, style, and similar gameplay. (example: zelda: majoras mask, metal gear solid 2, vice city, super smash bros melee, resident evil zero) true sequel: completly new and original gameplay, all new style. (super metroid to metroid prime, for example.) i think of the gba re-incarnations as ports. usualy they dont have many additions (but link to the past has the best multiplayer mode ever added in!) ShinRyu05
then according to your system then that would make the GBA zelda game a rehash not a port. do u know your own system

Mikau
sorry bout that, let me explain a bit.... i was refering to link to the past, it is a port. four swords is a completely seperate game, its just on the same cartridge. when you start, you choose what you want to play. think of super mario all stars, multiple games on 1 cart.
