tz101 #1 Posted November 21, 2009 I have been fortunate enough to pick up two heavy sixers at a yard sale and a thrift store for dirt cheap. The yard sale find had what I believe to be the Sunnyvale joysticks. They are hexagonal in stick profile, but appear to be missing the logo inlays at the top of the sticks. This is a Sears model system, but could anyone please post pictures of the inlays? I am wanting to possibly print out onto photo stock and glue these into my controllers. Atari heavy sixer stick inlays would be great also because the thrift store console is Atari brand. Now, about the heavy sixer paddle controllers: Are there any visual differences between these and those of later VCS/2600 systems? I have four sets of paddles and cannot tell the difference. Finally, I have the original heavy sixer ac adapter for the Sears system but it is not producing any voltage when tested with a multimeter. Is there any non-destructive way of repairing this adapter. I would like to preserve its exterior appearance because it has the gray shell versus the black one released with later model systems.
shadow460 #2 Posted November 26, 2009 The Heavy Sixer paddles and driving controllers will have either a Sears or Atari logo on them instead of the controller's name.
