chriswhit #1 Posted November 23, 2009 (edited) Where can I find parts for these? Gun game carts and so on. I'm low on cash till next week so just looking for options right now. Figured they must be hard to find from what I read. Also will other pistols from other coleco systems work Edited November 23, 2009 by chriswhit
chriswhit #2 Posted December 5, 2009 I found all the parts I'm missing. I got the game cart# 3 comming in the mail. When it gets here I will be testing it. I found a gun by showing this system to a few friends. One of which happened to have one of these systems with all the games missing so he gave it to me. Talk about luck. I'm sure one of the two decks should work.
+Ransom #3 Posted December 5, 2009 How fun! I had one of those back in the 70s. I remember you could get the best score in the driving game by simply driving on the shoulder, where none of the cars could crash into you.
chriswhit #4 Posted December 7, 2009 I now have cart 1 and 3 coming in the mail. Awesome. The only thing that stinks now is I'm self employed and just got stiffed a grand which means I may have to sell this after I test it unless I find another odd job. If I do decide to sell this I will offer it here first. Hopefully I won't have to as I wanted one of these for a long time and all the tested ones I've tried to win on epay went for more than I could spend at the time. Ebay is awful imagine 40 items listed and only 20 sell and my fee is $91. On the up side I'd still have all those motorcross bike parts if ebay didn't exist. Does Crags list have fees like that to? I never knew the seller paid so many fees until I became one.
BigO #5 Posted December 7, 2009 (edited) Craigslist is free and is just a classified advertising listing with no provision for payments or anything like that. We had a Coleco Telstar Arcade when I was a kid. We played the heck out of it. I seem to remember the cartridges not always making good contact.
