heavy sixer, light sixer top case interchange

I have a heavy sixer that has the Atari logo wore off and,the wood grain is in bad shape to.My question is,Will the top case from a light sixer fit on my heavy sixer? I know the heavy sixer has the rounded corners,but I think the tops are the same. Thank you.

It should work, may as well try it I'm pretty sure the top piece is the same or very similar.

If it fits, it won't be exact. The woodgrain won't line up at the edges or across the bottom.
