This is tempting, but don't really want another mouth to feed. At least the common INTV stuff can be had pretty cheap. Would kind of like playing Utopia again on a real system. Hmmm... I have an extra breadbox C64, but the video was a little flaky last I checked. I'm going to look into it now for you and will get back...

 

BTW: can relate to the drinking whilst bidding/buying/trading/spending money thing. Especially when you totally forgot what you bought and a few days later, something totally cool lands on your doorstep... LAMO! That's the geeks way of doing things today. In the past, you'd get into a car accident or find you've got new relatives 9 months later. rotflmao

yeah, the video is not perfect. Looks good enough, especially for games - but there's no RF shield and the text looks a little "distorted" upon the startup screen. Hard to describe, but all I can say is that it would only serve as a good starters system maybe - just to get you into the C64 if you wanted.

 

Might still be a good trade though considering the flaky controllers on your system. I'll let you decide...

I'm 99.9999% I'll take you up on that offer! Before completing the deal, however, do you know what's wrong with it and would it be a relatively simple fix? I'm all on board for taking it as it works the way it is, I'm just curious to know where I should start tinkering.

Well, like I said, 99.99%. I'm still open to other offers, actually. He hasn't gotten back to me. I "reserve" the right to take other offers, but I will say that there's a pretty good probability I'll take save2600 up on it when he gets back to me. But offer away, maybe you make a good enough offer!

@Kurisu - if you want the INTV, go for it. The C64 isn't going anywhere, so if you want it Cebus - PM me an offer! It of course comes with its power supply. I'm open to trades too if you want to PM a list of other classic gaming goodies you might have.
