Christmas stuff giveaway 2009

rkenneha

Recommended Posts

Over the years I've collected a TON of garage sale stuff, and I need to clear out some closet space. Rather than sell this stuff on eBay, I thought it would be more "Christmas-y" to just give the stuff away, as my way of giving back to the classic gaming community.

I did the same thing back in September of 2000 (just google "anybody want this stuff atari")

If you'd like one of the complete console systems, please try to limit yourself to 1 bundle so that I can spread this stuff around to the most people.

This stuff wouldn't be a gift if you had to pay for your own shipping, so don't worry about it...its on me.

If you would like any of this stuff, send an e-mail to rkennehaATyahooDOTcom

(replace the AT with a @ and the DOT with a .)

Here's what I'm giving away:

Just, can we get some pictures to show you do have this stuff before we send our addresses and info to someone on this forum that has four posts?

Yeah, c'mon - you can tell the guy is a good shit just by the way he writes. Like Al did, can always do a little investigating on your own :) Buggering him about pics is pretty insulting. I think what he's doing is terrific. Let's put on a better face here already for the guy who's obviously not new to gaming.

Sent an email for the Infocom stuff.

Thanks!

Says the guy who just joined up a couple of months ago. We don't all post like crazy, as evidenced by my join date and post count. I prefer lurking unless I have something to say worth posting...

From personal experience, I can vouch for the legitimacy of this offer.

I became aware of the offer through a different channel over a week ago and already have received my system from him.

It is indeed a generous and genuine offer.

My blog entry about this subject as written 12/5/09: http://www.atariage....plete-stranger/

Sorry for my last comment, I do think what he's doing is great. As for investigating(thanks for posting that Al :) ) I found this in the morning just before I left for school (read my birthdate on my profile) so I didn't have the time to do it. Sorry if it did sound insulting, it's just that I tend not to send out my address or personal info unless I see concrete proof that this is real, but Al provided that through the other thread showing he's done this before. As for another poster commenting on my comment saying this account only has 4 posts, that was the only thing I could pull up on in the time I had this morning so that was the only thing I put in. I realise not everyone posts as much as others. Anyway Merry Christmas rkenneha, thanks for doing this in our community
