BigO
I really like the LCD in the cart slot (could use a little bit of trim to finish it out). As I like to over-complicate things, I'd have tried to put the display in the end of a cartridge so it looks like there's a cartridge in the machine. There'd be much less space for the LCD doing that. Very nice work. I've seen some 2600 mods that I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. This ain't one of them. Wickeycolumbus
Very cool! Are you using the PIC to emulate bank switching hardware? What schemes does it support?
vtrucco
Very cool! Are you using the PIC to emulate bank switching hardware? What schemes does it support? PIC only feed a RAM chip. The W27C512 emulates F6 and F8. It's possible to emulate any scheme just changing this W27 for another cartridge hardware (i.e. Tigervision or Parker Bros)

frogstar_robot
Forgot to translate this message. PRONTO=READY. When you are selecting the game, the 2 display lines show the complete name of the rom stored in the SD. After press the emulator select button the "Ready" message appears and you can play the game. I recorded a video and post in Youtube one year ago with a huge explanation (Portuguese only, sorry) If English is a second language for you then I'll explain why so many of us like the PRONTO. In English as spoken by Americans, "pronto" is borrow-word slang from our neighbors to the south for "Right Away!" as in "Get your ass in here pronto!" So we basically LOVE the idea of telling the 2600 to fire up our favorite games....pronto!

yuppicide
He has it on MercadoLibre I see.. he wants $600 R$, which is about $339 US. http://produto.merca...-1000-jogos-_JM I'd be interested if it weren't so expensive. It's also PAL - M I'm guessing since it's Polyvox and Brazil. Is that easy to get an adapter to make it into NTSC?
