Is there a home console version of Area 51?

Yep. It's available on the Saturn and the PS1. The Saturn version is able to use the Super Cobra, which works kinda like the gun for Time Crisis and is very accurate. It also can use the Stunner.

 

I don't know for sure, but I think the PS1 version can use a light gun. I know that it can be played with the Sony mouse as well.

It also came out on PC as well (The arcade game, not the FPS remakes), although I can't tell if it's DOS or Windows.
