Goochman #3 Posted October 31, 2002 Can someone compare SainT and Steem in terms of compability/useability? Steem is easy to use and runs most everything I've thrown at it, however if Saint is better and just as easy I may switch.
Albert #4 Posted October 31, 2002 Can someone compare SainT and Steem in terms of compability/useability? Steem is easy to use and runs most everything I've thrown at it, however if Saint is better and just as easy I may switch. I have also used Steem and been satisfied with it, but haven't given SainT a run for its money. Hopefully someone has experience with both of these emulators and can write a brief comparison of the two. ..Al
Inky #5 Posted October 31, 2002 The important question is Does SainT play Oids????
LinkoVitch #6 Posted October 31, 2002 I tried previous version of SainT and winSTon.. neither seemed to handle sampled sound too well (although winSTon did a funky drisk drive noise simulation too ). STeem made me happy on all counts. Oids:.. did anyone else here enjoy incinerating the little blighters for a laugh (hover low and fire thrusters, watch em burn ) or was that just me? Level editor was fun too
