what classic or retro games hardware do you or have you owned

Recommended Posts

Like it says on the tin...what classic/retro games hardware did or do you own

here's mine

Did own

Original Playstation (don't know what bios revision it was as i don't have it anymore)

Sega Dreamcast

Sega Saturn

Atari Lynx (original and smaller version)

Atari Jaguar

Sega SMS (only for 2 weeks, system died, couldn't be bothered to take it back)

Original Nint. Gameboy (which i gave to my younger brother, as I did with the original Playstation)

Back in the 80's I did own a small version of a 12 or 15 in one pong type games system as well as an Intellivision and small amount of games

Still own

Atari Lynx (original version and only sort of works, the set of 3 bottons on the right hand side only work intermittently)

Currently (listing all, not just retro, sorry):

Atari Jaguar

NES (1 frontloader, 1 toploader)

SNES

Gamecube

Wii

Sega Master System

Sega Genesis (model 2)

Sega Saturn

Sega Dreamcast

Microsoft XBox

Microsoft XBox 360

NEC TurboGrafx-16

PS2 (1 fat, 1 slim)

GameBoy Advance

Used to own:

2600 (lost in house fire) =(

7800 (was actually step-brother's, but my dad divorced that woman, may have been a 5200, memory clouds with time passed)

NES Frontloader (Sold in garage sale when I got my TG-16 with all games and Nintendo Power issues, stupidity!)

Original Playstation (broke, would only play games upside down, tossed when got PS2 with backwards compatibility)

Pong Clone (Sold)

Various little LCD/LED handhelds (lost, broken, whatever)

Years back, my dad won a brand new 2600 and six games as a door prize at a grocery store grand opening. It went in the top of the closet (because we already had a 2600) and we were only allowed to have one of the games (don't know his reasoning on that). I chose Yar's Revenge. Don't know what ever happened to the 2600 or the other 5 games.

*edited, forgot Playstation on used to own

That's especially a good question these days, considering some of us use our newer systems solely to play classic games on them.. :ponder:

My turn in the way back machine!

My list doesn't include computer stuff because I've never owned cool computer stuff. I'll include newer stuff because everyone else is, and yes I'd also jump off if everyone else did too.

PSP

DS

NGPC

GBA Micro

GBA

Intellivision II (acquired a few months ago)

Gamecube

Dreamcast

I also used to own a powerbase converter for the Genesis and the 2600 expansion module for the Colecovision, but I've never owned a CV so I had no way to test it.

I believe that's all the big hardware.
