Can/how fix jaguar's r/f connector?

Recommended Posts

Ok I have a spare jaguar I have in a tub I forgot about. It had been stored in someones garage for a long time kind of sitting diagonally so the r/f was in the bottom of the tub. I'm not sure if it got water in it or just condenastion, however it has some of that rusty stuff not really rust more so the white silverish stuff that you can scrape off. (It may have some rust as well can't remember).

Either way when you hook it up to tv the picture is fuzzy and I believe the sound is a bit messed up. I know it's not the chord as I have another jaguar that is fine. This one was just for re-sale, however it never made it that far. Is there anyway to fix this, that is not too complicated?

Not sure if the composite works fine as I don't have one of those cabels. Also I will sell as-is if anyone is interested. I have 1 controller and no spare jag r/f just a spare genesis model 1 that works w/it.

The RF sucks anyhow. If you have a Jag it's well worth paying $20 for an AV cable from More Than Games or eBay.

If you must have RF, then yank the cord from the old one, match the signals with a different RF connector box (cheap everywhere, they don't sell very well) and go with it. I suggest anything common and halfway matching.

But yeah, I'd spring for the AV cables if at all possible. RF adapters when they go they go well.
