Telstar arcade controllers

I recently got a Telstar arcade with the controllers for cart 2 for four player mode. Some idiot cut the 6 pin din off attempting to fix a connection issue that was actually a dirty potomiter. Now I need the pinout to fix them as I didn't get the original plug with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will the console burn up if i just keep trying different wire combinations till i figure it out? Hate to damage the system.

i have no idea where to find the pinout for that thing, but i hope someone can help you
