atari_envy #1 Posted December 22, 2009 The Thread I know, I know. I hate the "vs" threads too. But this one made my blood boil: "I think the intellivision is a better gaming machine. The intellivison has better graphics and better games. Half of the Atari 2600 has graphics that look as bad as the Channel F system. The sports games for the Atari look bad . The Programmers should have been fired. My favorite Intellivision games are Demon Attack, Burgertime, B 17 Bomber, Frog bog, Atlantis, and Utopia." I felt compelled to respond and defend the honor of the 2600 against such uneducated comments. Feel free to chime in.
Emehr #2 Posted December 22, 2009 The problem with posting on that forum is you can spend a good chunk of time writing out a well-worded, profanity-free, to-the-point post but nobody will ever see it because it doesn't get "approved" for some mysterious reason. So, while I can probably think of a clever retort to the original post (which is a year and a half old by the way ), I'm not going to bother. I'll just stick to reading the reviews. Granted, the reviews are the real reason to visit his site, and the whole "approval" thing for the forums is lame, but I have gotten a couple posts published on this thread in the past day. And yes, the original posting is a year and half old, but it has continued through two pages with a post last month. Right now it is pretty even with INTV fans posting verses Atari. I guess I just like beating a dead horse. GIDDYUP!
