FS Gaming PC + 16" Laptop

Recommended Posts

I've got a spare gaming/multimedia PC hanging around that isn't getting much use, as I've already got my main PC, a

laptop, and a Macbook, so I'm selling it off. Highlights include quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM, 1.5TB of storage, good

video card, Windows 7 Ultimate, and more. There's also an optional LCD monitor below.

Here are the details:

Case: Thermaltake Element S mid, like new

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition, 2.5GHz Quad

Motherboard: Asus M3A79-T Deluxe

Memory: 8GB (4x2GB) OCZ DDR2-1066 Dual Channel (5-5-5-15)

HDD1: Maxtor DiamondMax 500GB SATA2 (ST3500630AS) (7200/16MB Cache)

HDD2: Maxtor DiamondMax 500GB SATA2 (ST3500630AS) (7200/16MB Cache)

HDD3: Western Digital Caviar 500GB SATA2 (WD5000AAKS-00A7B0) (7200/32MB Cache) (boot)

DVDRW: Samsung Black 22x LightScribe, SATA

Video: eVGA GeForce 260GTX-OC TwinFrozr

Audio: On-board HD Audio

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit full (MSDN), official, activated

Speakers: Logitech 2.1 speakers

PSU: 650W Corsair

Also included with this package is the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate (came as a set with the 64-bit version; uses

the same key, so it's also activated, but note that if you use this you will not be able to use the full 8 gigs of RAM,

you'll get about 3 gigs), as well as Windows XP Pro 64-bit (also MSDN, also activated on this rig) in case you'd prefer to

go old school. Legit keys are on the backs of each of the OS sleeves.

Whatever original drivers CDs that came with the various bits of hardware (motherboard, video) will be included. I have

at least some of the original boxes too if you want those.

Asking: $750 US SOLD!

Optional: Samsung SyncMaster 2343BWX 23" widescreen LCD monitor (2048x1152). Monitor is still under warranty, I

think 'til August '10. Like new.

Asking: $125 US when purchased with system.

Sorry, will not part out, and will only sell the monitor separately if a buyer takes the system only.

Everything works perfectly. There are no defects or issues to speak of, it runs smooth as silk. I built it out of a

combination of new parts and some components from my previous main rig when I upgraded this past summer. None of the

components have ever been overclocked except for the video card, which came in an OC config from the factory.

Will not ship; this setup is big and heavy and I wouldn't trust Canada Post with it any further than I could throw them.

Pickup is available in Brampton (Steeles/Main (Hurontario)) behind Shopper's World mall. I'm afraid I don't drive, so I

can't deliver. Serious inquiries only. Lowballers will be branded and shunned by the village.

Any (serious) questions, please ask away.

Eric,

If someone buys the PC without the screen I'd buy the screen from you.

Shawn

Sure, I'll keep you in mind if someone takes just the system. :)
