Intellivision

Thunder Castle - 15 minutes

Horse Racing - 10 minutes

Super Pro Football - 10 minutes

I got my copy of Thunder Castle yesterday and decided to sit down and fire up the Intellivision to play all the games I've gotten in the last 2 weeks. Thunder Castle was exactly how I remembered. I still love that game and I still yell at the wizards who I can never catch.

I've wanted Horse Racing since I was 6. Now I can't understand why. I'll have to read the manual a bit before I play next time because I never got close to picking the winning horse. Still a neat idea for a party game.

I played the old NFL Football by myself 25+ years ago. I'd put the controllers on the floor and use one hand on each. I don't remember how or if I passed but I must have. It wasn't that much fun playing by yourself but when you're 7 you'll do anything. Enter Super Pro Football. I finally got a copy and loved the ability to play 1 player. The computer kicked my butt at first but I was remembering how to play the game just before I shut it off.

I still have a bunch of Genesis, SNES and N64 games to try out so perhaps I'll get to that tonight.

had alot of time yesterday! my mother took my oldest to a picnic, and wife took my youngest daughter swimming at a friends, so I had a good 6 hours of solitude! then had some friends over for some shoot em up playing!

some notes:

Rad Racer II is terrible - I managed to get to stage 5: las vegas - but cheating AI and the fact that 99% of the time you can bump cars but then just out of random, making contact with just one car spins you out… I gave up and ripped the game out after playing this stage about 10-15 times! I don't know if I can play Rad Racer II again with it's broke mechanics!

Here are my times for this week (July 12th through 18th)...

There are no times because I haven't played any games this week due to hot weather and me going swimming nearly every day (except for today).

Good for you! It is very hot here as well, I wish I had a venue for swimming!

NES

Paperboy - 20 minutes

Q-Bert - 10 minutes

Popeye - 20 minutes

Ninja Gaiden - 20 minutes

Batman - 15 minutes

My wife wanted to play some games so I brought out the NES for our gaming fun. After some Paperboy and Q-Bert she was done for the night but I wanted to play some of my favs. The music in Batman and Ninja Gaiden is still amazing 20+ years later. I really enjoy it, so much so I'm usually jamming to the tunes instead of watching what I'm doing.
