Games Beaten in 2010!

While I've finished plenty of games this year, I haven't been listing most of them.. I did finish one last week though which is Kenseiden for the Master System. Just wanted to toss that one on here because that was an accomplishment for me--the game never quite made sense until I finally dedicated some time to it, playing it over and over again. It turns out it's quite a good game with some very challenging segments.. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a solid platformer similar to the likes of the Castlevania series.

I Beat the Beginner and Advanced modes on Super Monkey Ball, working on Expert.

I beat the Game Gear version of Sonic 1 with all 6 chaos emeralds.

I got the best ending on Sonic CD.

I beat Sonic the Fighters with multiple characters.

I beat Sonic R with all 7 emeralds and all secret characters.

I beat Murcury Meltdown Revolution.

I beat Tony Hawk 3.

I beat Tony Hawk 4.

I beat Adventure on level 1.

More to come.

Forgot to mention I also beat Samba De Amigo.

I finished the following game on Nintendo DS this year :D :

Hidden Mysteries: Titanic (terrible game, unfortunately)

Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy (not much better than the above game but it does have voices)

Chronicles of Mystery: Curse of the Ancient Temple (I liked this one!)

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally beat the first "Crash Bandicoot" this evening! Wooooooooooo!!!

The final boss wasn't so bad. The last level "The Lab" was a real bitch though. I'm not sure I want to bother trying to complete this game 100%, but it was an enjoyable ride.

Aww, I finished so many games last year that I probably won't bother with this year. Oh well.

In no order because my memory sucks...

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)

Silpheed (Sega CD)

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Wiiware)

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All (Wiiware)

Mega Man 10 (Wiiware)

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth (Wiiware)

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis, Atari controller)

Pigskin Footbrawl (Genesis, normal mode, only one troll on the other team :/)

Mischief Makers (N64)

Adventure (2600, game 3)

Haunted House (2600, game 1 :P)

Sin and Punishment (N64 (Wii Virtual Console))

Monster Hunter Tri (Wii, offline mode)

Turrican (Amiga emulator)

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA via GameCube GB Player)

Megaman Zero 2 (GBA via GabeCube GB Player, my thumb was black and blue from that horrible D-pad)

Warlords (2600, I beat the computer opponents and the game ended. Surely that counts!)

Mischief Makers (N64)

I tried playing this one just two days ago, but it almost broke my fingers. I guess I'm already too old for these complex multiple button combos on such an anti-ergonomic controller, so I threw it away in frustration after the 4th level already ;)

23. Megaman: The Wily Wars (Megadrive) – 4/21/10

24. Double Dragon III: The Scared Stone( Nes) 6/20/10

Double Dragon III: The Scared Stone is a royal pain to beat even with the Nes Max Controller for me. I only had Billy left at the time I beaten Princess Noiram. This is one of the toughest Nes games I ever beaten.

The last time I beaten this game was 17 or 18 years ago with a game genie and a standard nes controller.

A few new games added in. I have been pretty busy with some projects so not a lot of time for games over the past couple of months unfortunately.

Super Mario World - 100% completion here. I have done this before, but not for 15 years at least. Good fun

Mario Kart 64 - still the best one for my money

Mega Man for GG - easily the worst 'regular' Mega Man I have ever played when held up against the NES and Gameboy versions. However, even the worst Mega Man can be expected to be pretty good and it is. the sound blows, and it is more symplistic than you might be used to, but still very playable and a fun title for GameGear

Updated list

SNES

Addams Family

Legend of the Mystical Ninja

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Magic Sword

Super Bomberman

Illusion of Gaia

Saturday Night Slam Masters

Nastsume Championship Wrestling

Quake 2

Star Wars Episode I Racer

In the past week I was able to finally finish Aliens vs Predator for SNES and the first TMNT game for GB. I know I beat TMNT before when it was new, but not previously without cheating. Good game
