BrianC #180 Posted July 24, 2010 (edited) Master System Sonic Triple Trouble (won, but didn't get all the emeralds) I thought this was the first GameGear exclusive Sonic In Europe the Master System got pretty much every game the GG did. That's right. I've also got Sonic Chaos and Sonic Blast. Not quite right. SMS didn't get Triple Trouble in any region and Sonic Blast only came out in Brazil. I'm guessing you play Triple Trouble via emu, repro, or flash cart (there's also some guy on ebay seeing repros of unreleased SMS games without clear indication that they are repros)? The SMS Triple Trouble is an unofficial hack of the GG version to work on SMS. The SMS Sonic games (not counting spin offs like Mean Bean Machine) EU got are Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic Chaos. BTW, Europe didn't get every game the GG did for SMS either. There are quite a few games that are exclusive to GG and even a few like G-Loc and GP Rider that are completely different games from their GG counterparts. Sonic R #184 Posted July 26, 2010 popped in some Cadash and I conquered it with the priest character… her weapon is a whip and offers great range and she also is able to use healing magics… I took some time to grind to level her up so I would have sufficent hp for tougher parts of the game. figgler #190 Posted August 4, 2010 Here's the updated list. Newest game I beat is the first Tiny Toons for Game Boy. It's not something you need to rush out and play immediately, but comes from that time when companies like Capcom and Konami were churning out surprisingly good platofrmers based on after school cartoon shows. SNES Addams Family Legend of the Mystical Ninja Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Magic Sword Super Bomberman Illusion of Gaia Saturday Night Slam Masters Nastsume Championship Wrestling Street Fighter Alpha 2 Star Fox Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Super Mario World Aliens vs. Predator N64 Quake 2 Star Wars Episode I Racer Cruis'n USA Mario Kart 64 Playstation Star Wars Masters of Teras Kasi GameBoy Street Fighter II Double Dragon II Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan Tiny Toons Adventures: Babs' Big Break GameBoy Colour Bomberman Quest GameGear Mega Man Batman Returns

Frizo #192 Posted August 14, 2010 Haven't posted in this thread yet, so here is a list: Game Boy: MegaMan 2 Pokemon Yellow NES: MegaMan 1-2 Super Mario Bros I really have a hard time beating games, if you knew how long I played these games before beating them, and games I have played but haven't beaten (or games that CAN'T be beaten, Pinball for NES, stuff like that) you would be like, 'Wow, does that kid have friends?!' Reaperman #193 Posted August 20, 2010 (edited) Well I finally did it, I beat Chrono Trigger (snes) for my first time. think I got one of the best endings for sure. The game couldn't hold my attention on my previous tries, but this time I held on until it got interesting, and all the neat little time-based puzzles started. I like that kind of stuff. Real low difficulty on that game until the very final battle. And I still don't think most of those characters had any real reason to be following along with the plotline. But now that I've finished I can finally see why it's on so many people's snes top 10 lists, and I think I may have started agreeing. figgler #194 Posted August 25, 2010 Finished WWF Superstars for Game Boy last week. As you might see from below, I have a soft spot for wrestling games. I am pretty sure Superstars is the first for GB, or certainly the first WWF game. Not half bad either for what it is. the pre-match trash talking and post match analysis from Vince McMahon are really cool features that you don't see in other wrestling games often if ever. Then I finally beat the main story on Pokemon Red. Great game obviously and yes I am late to the party as always, but am really getting into Pokemon these days. Go figure SNES Addams Family Legend of the Mystical Ninja Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Magic Sword Super Bomberman Illusion of Gaia Saturday Night Slam Masters Nastsume Championship Wrestling Street Fighter Alpha 2 Star Fox Final Fantasy Mystic Quest Super Mario World Aliens vs. Predator N64 Quake 2 Star Wars Episode I Racer Cruis'n USA Mario Kart 64 Playstation Star Wars Masters of Teras Kasi GameBoy Street Fighter II Double Dragon II Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan Tiny Toons Adventures: Babs' Big Break WWF Superstars Pokemon Red Version GameBoy Colour Bomberman Quest GameGear Mega Man Batman Returns

Cybergoth #199 Posted September 3, 2010 Just made it through Super Turrican. Surprisingly short game that hasn't aged well... Are we going to get a "Playing..." out of it? Ah, probably not. It's been the SNES version, I forgot to mention Actually I was playing Turrican 2 first, with the intention of featuring it in another "Rainbow Arts" article, but it felt just like a data disk to the first Turrican. It's also very unfair in design, there's always something jumping onto your player from above, which gets pretty annoying after a while... about the only reason to play it was the music from Chris Hülsbeck, which can be listened to way easier these days So out of curiosity I had a look at the Super Turricans. The NES one looked like a caricature of a Turrican game, I quit playing that very fast! The next "Playing..." article should start tonight...
