myfriendskiba #1 Posted January 7, 2010 (edited) Alright, I've got the following four "Guy Games," sealed and mint for the Xbox. I wasn't sure what it's worth, checked eBay and Amazon and decided $30 $25/each shipped to the US seemed fair; you may disagree, if you're interested let me know and we may be able to work something out. I accept Paypal. It's been a some time since I've last been here, but I've sold a couple things a good while back. Pics below, please PM with questions. ComputerSpaceFan #2 Posted January 8, 2010 According to this article regarding the underage lawsuit, isn't this game a rather valuable item? Maybe you should up your asking price. Just wondering, I'm not condoning what happened.
myfriendskiba #3 Posted January 8, 2010 I'm well aware of the controversy, but after checking ebay, amazon, and atari age, I figured the game hasn't quite "hit it" as a collector's item. I'm guessing demand/supply haven't coincided yet to make it a goldmine. I'll just be happy to get rid of them all, especially at that price. Maybe look at this as an investment, I hear pornographic games that were pulled off the shelves are the most secure place to put your money.
+thanatos #4 Posted January 8, 2010 No offense, but you should be really afraid of selling that, just because of the ability of the government to say you own child porn. Personally I wouldn't even want that game in my house.

Personally I wouldn't even want that game in my house. The way I've rationalized it, the game was freely available prior to the controversy, it's still available now, and I clearly haven't accessed the material, I think there's enough actual disgusting child porn out there for the government to concern themselves with. I have no intention of playing the game I doubt anyone else does either, it's an interesting curiosity, that's all.

If they want to get your for something, they will. That game, according to US law, is child porn, no matter how stupid it seems. The fact that you haven't 'accessed' it wouldn't matter to any overzealous prosecutor. Possession is possession. Get rid of those things, and stop promoting them. I hate to say it but you might be right on this one. This game is clearly by law now illegal and it wasn't THAT long ago that a Japanese anime collector had his collection impounded and was hauled into jail for his ANIME !!
