The board I have is somewhat different to that pictured, but the 16 pin LCDs are more or less standard, I believe. Every pin of mine is connected to the PCB.

It looks to me as if every thing is working. The pinouts on the LCD displays are reasonably standard. But the location on the display PCB connector can vary.

On mine the Text is upside down compared to yours. Text would read correctly with the button at the bottom of the PCB.

There might be some code you can send the display driver to turn the text 180 degrees, but this would need a special firmware to do this every time the unit boots.

If this is not possible then you will need to buy a new LCD (one with the connector at the top of the unit, in relation to the Text viewing rotation)

hmm.. i looking for new lcd, but one czech atarian write me:

"Netřeba nic vyletovávat - pokud vím, je tam konektor.

Stačí prodloužit propojení mezi displejem a konektroem (drátky nebo plochý kabel) a displej otočit."

-as I know, there's connector. Simply extend the connection between the display and connector (wires or flat cable) and turn the display.

hmm.. but which connector?

He meant the 14(16) wire interconnection between the pcb board and display board.

So if it's now soldered, you desolder the 16 display pins and replace them with longer cable that you'll be able to rotate and mount the display as you wish
