I know there are some TG folks here, so I wanted to ask this question here so the whole community knows the answer as well.

 

I want to know if video taping an emulator session is legal? The video tape would clearly show the game was not "hacked" in any way, and all play was legal.

 

I ask because there are some games I am very skilled at, but don't own, and I was thinking of making a submission, but wanted to make sure it was legal in the emulator.

TG dose have an emulator section so i don't see why it wouldnt be legal.

Yes, we do allow for videotape submission of an emulator for the Atari, Intellivision & Coleco platforms. Might I also suggest using PCAEWin and submitting an .avi of your gameplay? Seems like it would be easier, but videotape is fine too.
