South & North Carolina Vintage Game Stores

Recommended Posts

Okay, so I'm trying to find as many stores as I can in South and North Carolina that sell older game systems but it's been ridiculously hard. Aside from Play N Trade, I've only been able to locate Joe's Video Games in Rock Hill.

If you know of any shops, please list 'em here!

Many thanks :D

I visit a store called "Game Giant" in Wilmington, NC, when I go down there to visit a friend.

Last I was there (a few years ago), they had two stores. I can't say they were great, but some of the prices weren't too bad. The worst part was probably the fact that they don't sell the boxes to their retro games.. So you walk into the store and you're like "Holy WTF KLJT$)(WU)C(J#)(WJ)(J#R I'VE HIT A GOOOLLD MIIIIINE!!!", you walk up to the counter with 25 boxes, and they take the boxes and hand you cart-only games in return.. ugh.

Game Giant just had the store on college the last time I was in town. They did have two stores at one time one on college and one on Market. I picked up a few 2600 games from them this was back in 2005 though. Your best bet in NC is to check Flea Markets. I've had alot of luck in the Smithfield Goldsboro area.
