Worm War I

Fired up stella and loaded up Worm War I. Man, I forgetwhat a fun and challenging game this is. Sure it starts out slow, but when you get to higher levels, it becomes extremely challenging, what with the blocks making movements of your tank difficult. Also a bit of strategy... should I refuel or blow up the gas station to clear my path?

I never blow up the Pagodas. Fuel is just too valuable to lose.

Worm War 1 is a really fun game. I think I'll actually play a few rounds after my comment, so thanks for the suggestion

Hack it to use the footpedal controller on controller port 2.

I've always found this game to be one of the more underrated in the 2600 library. The graphics, speed, sounds...all quite good for the system. You're right about the challenge in strategizing. I'll have to play this one before work tonight

I got the game in a bulk lot, and thought nothing of it. Fired it up, and was amazed.

 

Such a nice game. Always hoping for fule instead of more worms.. hehe.

I agree. It's a great game that often gets overlooked. Gameplay can get pretty frantic later on in the game. Definitely a 2600 must have.

Yeah this is a good game, I own it with it's org. manual. It's a high quality product hehe.
