mbd30 #2 Posted January 19, 2010 http://www.perezstart.com/misc/old-school-must-have-atari-flashback-2/9266/ "I enjoyed it, but how many of us actually had an Atari 7800 in the 80’s?" *raises hand* As a kid I went from Atari 2600 to Atari 7800. BTW, I'm glad that Atari prevented evil pornographers from defiling their system. Imagine how graphically erotic a 7800 version of "Custer's Revenge" would have been. "Following the debate over Custer's Revenge, an Atari 2600 VCS title with adult themes, Atari had concerns over similar adult titles finding their way onto the 7800 and displaying adult graphics on the significantly improved graphics of the MARIA chip. To combat this, they included a digital signature protection method which prevented unauthorized 7800 games from being played on the system."
Rev. Rob #3 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) The thread should be titled "Shit we knew in 2005." You know, there's like a whole other forum for this. Edited January 20, 2010 by Rev. Rob
