nonner242 #3 Posted January 21, 2010 I still will fight that its rarer than a R7. It was the downright hardest game for me to get...even over Battlesphere Gold,Worms,Towers 2 Thank god I got it after 10years Sealed to boot!

Tom-Lynx #5 Posted January 21, 2010 For Breakout 2000?!? Wow....I've got hidden gems everywhere!
Tom-Lynx #6 Posted January 21, 2010 Looks like Songbird still has them brand new for $89.95. If you really want this game new and sealed, that may be your best source before they're gone.
SLVR99 #7 Posted January 21, 2010 But as i said, Jack Bros. is still available. and i have seen this game and it looks cool. I WANT IT!!!!

Yes, I do have exactly one copy left in stock. I also have very limited stock (1-3 copies) of other Telegames cartridge releases, and I expect to have a handful of IS2 CD back in stock in about two weeks. ls650 #9 Posted January 21, 2010 IMHO it's one of the better games for the Jag; I still can fire it up at any old time and enjoy it for half an hour even after owning it for several years.

Agreed. A great game to just 'zone out' on and is definitely one of the best games for the system. Wish there were more classic "2K" incarnations for the Jag. Only real "complaint" is that it doesn't support analogue rotary dial control as Tempest 2000 does.

Goochman #12 Posted January 22, 2010 I have B2K and it kinda bored me - are there variations or some powerups or such? Seemed like 3D Super Breakout at best.
+save2600 #13 Posted January 22, 2010 I have B2K and it kinda bored me - are there variations or some powerups or such? Seemed like 3D Super Breakout at best. Have you enabled cheats and such? Yes, the game "can" be boring at times - which is a nice reprieve... can kind of zone out. Once you enable cheats, levels, etc., game is fun again. Songbird #14 Posted January 22, 2010 Will you be getting anymore soon(breakout 2000)??? I just sold the last copy in stock a few minutes ago. I will try to get more in, but it will take several months minimum.
+Sargon #15 Posted January 22, 2010 Telegames UK always has Breakout and the other Telegames releases available, but the shipping and currency conversion makes it a pricey option. John from Telegames is great to deal with though and will occasionally give you a deal or discount on multiple items.
ls650 #16 Posted January 22, 2010 Seemed like 3D Super Breakout at best. Er, yes, that's the point. Some folks actually like Breakout...

I emailed them last week and the week before asking if they were still in business as the website had a lot of broken links and I wanted to confirm before playing an order. I also asked about an item in stock. No reply to either emails

Maybe they are still closed or just haven't got caught up on emails yet.
Crazy Climber #21 Posted January 22, 2010 For the money you drop on Breakout 2000 you would be better off getting T2K and a rotary controller, just my opinion
Rick Dangerous #22 Posted November 6, 2014 I just have a quick breakout 2000 question and didn't want to start an new thread. I really enjoy Breakout 2k and working my way up the High Score table. That aside, my question is: Was the "Breakout Classic" portion of this game not finished? I am doing quite well on the second level and it always conks out on me and I get a game over. Just wondering if it's my copy or if anyone else experiences this. Also, does the rotary controller work well with this game? Still need to order one of those.. Per the instructions (see link below) there are only two levels in the Breakout Classic. http://atariage.com/manual_page.html?SystemID=JAGUAR&SoftwareLabelID=1068&maxPages=16¤tPage=

Well then it's settled. I beat Breakout Classic. I'll have to add my score to the high score forum later tonight.. Unlike Tempest 2000, no rotary support for B2K. That's a shame. Would be an obvious choice to utilize it. Do any other games than Tempest support rotary?
