lushgirl_80 #1 Posted January 28, 2010 Hi I already have a 4-switch boxed but was thinking lately I really would like a 6-switch 2600( preferably woodgrain and late '70s model) complete with box also in my collection. The box for my 4-switch is falling apart a bit (my cat puked nearby it and I had to clean it with Lysol, makes me so upset I had to do that)...so lately I've been thinking about getting another but with a box that is in better shape. Also because I'd like to have a 6-switch in my videogame collection anyways. Was wondering what the prices are like here. I'm willing to send a Money Order asap. Please reply here or through PM, thanks!

seanhq #3 Posted January 31, 2010 Do you want a heavy sixer or a light sixer? That will definitely affect price and availability I'm sure.

What is the difference between a heavy and a light? The heavy sixers were only produced for one year from 1977-1978 in Sunnyvale, CA. They have a thicker/heavier plastic bottom casing and chrome switches. Some light sixers were also made in Sunnyvale, CA but have the lighter/standard plastic bottom casing.
