VectorGamer #1 Posted January 28, 2010 The author says "Sure the graphics stink, but just a little bit." I've had some say after looking at a game like Ms. Pac-Man and saying "the graphics are so primitive" and I just don't see it. They're not cinematic like today's games, but we're not even comparing apples to apples. ColecoVision: Star Wars Arcade
+save2600 #2 Posted January 28, 2010 Sounds like my kind of gal... "Everytime certain events happened, like when you lost R2 or Obi-Wan told you to use the force, you did a shot".
+Ransom #3 Posted January 28, 2010 It's interesting to get the perspective of the young and ignorant. Kinda like if, in my early twenties, I'd written an article about how The Beatles were a pretty cool band, even if they mostly did covers of songs lots of other people have done better. I always thought that was one of the better conversions of that game...
akator #5 Posted January 30, 2010 I suppose we should all just be happy that she graced us with her post. It was so informative and meaningful! I'll be adding it to my list of references.
mbd30 #6 Posted January 30, 2010 I don't think this is a game that has ever translated well to home. You have to play this on the original arcade unit with the original arcade controller.
Metal Ghost #7 Posted January 31, 2010 I don't think that her comment about the graphics is unfair. After all, we should remember that this is being written by someone who doesn't have the nostalgia factor like most of us, and is comparing an entertainment experience with other available options. That having been said, it's really not a good blog post. It gives like zero detail about the game, graphics or otherwise. The only thing I learned from this post is a new idea for a drinking game. Priceless.
