Kris Snyder #1 Posted January 30, 2010 (edited) This was an early '80s, possibly late '70s shoot-em-up, with gameplay that was quite reminiscent of Asteroids' (i.e. your ship is centrally located, and you must fight off enemies coming at you from all sides). At the start of each round, you choose one of a possible four different wing layouts - every subsequent round, you had to choose a different one (until you'd cycled through them all, presumably - I never made it that far myself)... I remember that, being centrally located, you could pull off some cool "Death Blossom"-style maneuvers against the incoming ships by pulling the joystick around in rapid circles... The most memorable thing about the game, however, was its ranking system. At the end of the game, an alien (presumably the game's main villian - he took up the entire screen) with a huge, cyclopian eye would comment on your performance in a digitized voice! Not sure if I remember the exact words or phrases anymore - but it was along the lines of: "You were a pitiful/pathetic opponent/adversary," "You were an adequate opponent," "You were a worthy opponent" etc. ...
