I as inspired by that RGB Mod thread, but did not want to hijack it. I found some guy in a german board, who make me a sweet mod as well. Its RGB + Controller Ports.

I am a complete scrub, so may laugh but what impresses me the most is, that the original controllers are still 100% functional, despite the ports to connect Grips Arcade-Stick. Love it ♥

are the overlays from the Intellivision Flashback set?

The Flashback overlays do not include the Electric Company logo.

Those would appear to be Intellivision Inc overlays, which are not listed on INTVFunhouse, since it appears the copyright line has been blacked out.

My GF typically says things more like, "...when I take your crap to Goodwill when you're gone." ?

I just bought this manual + cartridge of French Canadian Super Cobra for 130 Canadian bucks. I think it was a reasonable price for that piece.

I hate buying incomplete games but this time I made an exception…

So, if anyone has a box I would be truly happy to buy it so as to give a nest to my newcomers!

Extremely hard to find.  You still need the English only manual to make that a full cib (along with the box) Nice find though!!! Congrats!

I wouldn’t hold my breath in finding an empty box though :(

You are right, there is also the English only manual! Thanks, I completely forgot…

The way to have a CIB is still very very long then!

And it’s probably less hard to find a CIB than an empty box…

Just because somebody asks for $5000, or $10,000, doesn’t mean it’s worth that, until someone is actually foolish enough to pay that much. I could list one for $1 million dollars and likely have just as much hope of selling it.

That seller is crazy, but if he is dividing by two the price at every auction in three weeks that Spiker will become affordable !?

I do agree with you. I felt I had to report the listing for the record. Personally, I blame that speculative approach. The seller started asking 10k Euros, which means that he/she knows Spiker is the rarest Intellivision game and also its current price. Nevertheless, he/she asked almost ten times that. I think it's ridiculous and somehow insulting the avarage eBay user intelligence. But that's it, fortunately we live in a free world, with its pros and cons.

This auction recently ended on Shopgoodwill. I didn't buy it, but I think it is hilarious. I like to imagine that the owner got really excited to play chess on the Intellivision, even buying a pawn joystick for the disc, got beat down by the computer, and was so mad that they donated the whole thing.

  • 2 weeks later...

After a long dry spell, I splurged quite a bit in June, getting many key pieces, including the French Canadian B-17 Bomber which was my most wanted game!

Thanks to @Kamikazi26 - I bought the SEARS SNAFU from his "going on vacation" sale and traded with him for the FCTVVO Checkers.  Bought the SEARS Backgammon from another great collector (who is on AA but I don't know his handle) and I bought the other 3 on eBay.
