Case Swapping for the SNES

So Basically can I put a super nintendo in the casing of a super famicom???

I actually have no idea, as I've never opened up one or the other, but I suspect that the motherboards will be different shapes and sizes. Power, video, controller ports, cartridge ports will be in the wrong spots (I suspect).

MagitekAngel has the right assumption, they arent the same shape board and such. It would require alot of resoldering and moving parts around and such.

 

Edit- Unless of course you speak of the SNS-101 and the Super Famicom Jr.

Perhaps an easier project would involve modding a Super Famicom to play SNES cartridges?

I would love that, personally. I think the SFC is a much cooler looking system.
